![]() Opted for pick-up from nearest fedex store as the delivery guy sometimes drops my mail outside my mail box. I put value worth as $5, chose overnight delivery, put the return shipping date a week after the day I sent it from states. Expert tip: You can save time and paper by uploading your customs documents when using FedEx Ship Manager ®. When preparing your shipment, you need to put a copy of your Air Waybill and three copies of the commercial invoice on the package. I was told that if I just include an airway bill (can be found at fedex store, probably online too) for return shipment, the fedex package handler in Canada can create an invoice based on the info provided in the airway bill. Step 2: The shipper will prepare the Air Waybill, schedule a pickup and upload the customs documentation. Attach Documentation to Package Print customs documentation or upload it via FedEx ® Electronic Trade Documents, print your shipping label and stick it all on your shipment. To be safe I spoke to the fedex representative at the store to find out options for an invoice for return shipment. Prepare your customs documents (the Commercial Invoice and any other required forms) and your international shipping label on your own or via Global Trade Manager. Since this is just a document, it should not require a commercial invoice but I have been getting mixed responses on this. Make sure your CC info is provided in your fedex account (if you create one). This will be charged on your CC after return delivery is complete. If you’re not sure if you need a Commercial Invoice, go to Find International Documents on FedEx ® Global Trade Manager or call 1.800.GoFedEx or 1.800.463.3339 and say 'international services. ![]() Return shipment billing was marked as to be paid by the fedex account holder/receiver i.e. I created a fedex profile only for this because the fedex representative at the store could not create a return shipment on my behalf. I sent PP to Ottawa from States via Fedex early this year. Sharing my experience which may help some people here.
